About Pride

The Pride of Baltimore Chorus is a group of women who love to sing and perform. Singing in a cappella barbershop style, we perform a variety of songs from the classics to today’s current hits. The chorus is under the umbrella of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide non-profit organization.

The chorus’s goal is to entertain our audiences with a highly charged and energetic performance. We’ve had the pleasure of singing on stages like Carnegie Hall in New York City and Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore. Locally, we’ve been seen performing at the National Postal Convention, the Baltimore Flower Show, Dedications at the Inner Harbour in Baltimore, and Caroling in Annapolis.

We also enjoy the spirit of competition! Our chorus is proud to have earned many regional and international medals over its illustrious 20+ year history. Each year, we compete in annual regional competitions with other Sweet Adelines choruses. Regional competition winners are invited to compete in the Sweet Adelines International competition, held in cities around the world. Most recently, we’ve competed in Hawaii and Las Vegas! In the fall of 2017, we’ll be performing in Ireland.

The chorus is always looking for new members to join us to “harmonize the world.” Interested women are encouraged to visit a rehearsal and learn more about our one-of-a-kind group. Contact us for more information and feel free to check out our past performances.
