Music Excellence Through Education, Competition and Performance

Our Mission

Pride of Baltimore Chorus is an award winning community of women who love to sing a cappella four-part harmony barbershop style. We strive for musical excellence through education, competition and performance. We value supportive friendship, individual musical and personal growth, and sharing the joy of music.

Our Organization

Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performances. This independent, nonprofit music education association is one of the world’s largest singing organizations for women. “Harmonize the World” is the organization’s motto.

New Director Welcome!

The Pride of Baltimore Chorus is thrilled to announce Lynda Keever as our new director!!

Lynda comes to us with a rich history in Sweet Adelines. She is the lead of the 2008 International Quartet Champion Four Bettys, and sang with the Melodeers in 5 of their 7 International Chorus Championships. She is a Certified Music Judge, a member of the International Faculty, and a Master Director.

With all that she has achieved in SAI, Lynda strives to give back to the organization as much as possible by coaching, judging, and teaching. She currently coaches throughout the world, including regular trips to England and Australia. Through her guidance and teaching at POB, she looks forward to building a strong unit with smart work and good music.

Each rehearsal, Lynda leads with energy, joy, and enthusiasm, with the intention that every singer should learn something, have fun, and feel better about herself when she walks out then she did walking in. Here at POB we are so glad that she walked through our doors, and we look forward to what the future holds on our new journey with Lynda as our director.

Welcome Lynda!!
